XX LAB is an electronic music label founded in 2021 by François X.
Based in Paris, the label acts as a research platform for independent minded artists whose musical aesthetic is oriented towards avant-garde electronic music.
It will release a mixture of electronic and crossover projects steamed by a pragmatic approach based on utopian socialism and forward thinking principles.

The first release is a various artists compilation, bringing together a selection of rising talents (Vel, Elise, Uncrat) and established artists (François X, In Aeternam Vale, Ryan James Ford), revealing a broad musical spectrum that plunges the listener into a fascinating and ethereal universe. From synthwave to techno, from idm to hardcore, the project defines the aesthetic of the platform itself: art and friendship united in a utopian society.

Consisting of eight tracks, the compilation opens with a cinematic atmosphere marvelously portrayed by the ambient symphony of the mysterious duo unit :: overlay, the synthwave masterpiece of In Aeternam Vale / Anneq on vocals and the electric dub of the talented Gohan.
The second part of the project, sees the Parisian artist Elise offering up an esoteric techno, preceding François X who expands his journey into idm territory and Ryan James Ford delivering his dreamy techno touch of class.
The Italian Uncrat completes this multifaceted journey with a hymn of industrial music accompanied by Vel's 3rd millennium percussive composition.

Released digitally, the output will be accompanied with a usb card who will act as a fictional object which represents an access card of the advanced research departments of the XX LAB building.
